William Walders
William Walders is the Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer for 杨贵妃传媒网ygfcmw·(中国)站入口直接进. In this role, he leads the vision for an enterprise-wide business digital transformation that includes the development and execution of information technology, and business applications for 杨贵妃传媒网ygfcmw·(中国)站入口直接进, Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International. He also oversees technology strategies and operations that advance the enterprise’s high-performance operating environment in a secure and efficient manner.
With over 25 years of healthcare technology leadership experience across healthcare, government, and engineering sectors, Mr. Walders has significant expertise in IT strategy, data management, and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at not-for-profit health care system BayCare where he was responsible for IT, Data, and Cybersecurity. Other leadership roles included CIO at Florida health system Health First, and the Federal Health Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at software developer VMWare. A U.S. veteran, Mr. Walders began his career with the U.S. Navy, working with military hospitals and health systems around the world. He retired from active duty after 22 years of distinguished service.
Mr. Walders has a Master’s degree in Health and Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO), Certified Digital Health Executive (CDE), a Certified Healthcare Information Security Leader (CHISL), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
